What we verified. The reference B001DARGTE designates this thread on amazon.de, .fr, .it, .es and .com. Our confirmation here rested on the manufacturer part number rather than an EAN, and the Spanish and Italian listings are sold under reseller names — so we flag this one as slightly less firmly established than the rest of this batch. We did not confirm it on amazon.co.uk.

The two things that must change with it. A topstitch needle, and a longer stitch length. Heavy thread through a standard needle frays and snaps; heavy thread at a short stitch length looks crowded rather than crisp. Change all three together or none of them.
