Hands-on testing pending. What follows is verified reference data and manufacturer specification, marked as such.

What we verified. The reference B00PYEFD2M designates this ruler on all six Amazon stores we checked, confirmed on EAN. The UK title is simply “Curved Rule”, which is unhelpfully generic — the identifier is what confirms it is the same product.

Why transparency is the specification that matters. You use a curve by laying it over an existing line and sliding it until the printed curve matches the line you want to continue. A solid ruler hides exactly the thing you are trying to match, which turns a two-second alignment into guesswork.

Do not cut against it. It is drafting plastic, not a cutting rule. One pass with a rotary cutter puts a notch in the edge, and every curve you draw afterwards inherits it.
