What we verified. B0063G48VC designates this interfacing on amazon.de, .fr, .it, .es, .co.uk and .com, confirmed on EAN rather than on the title — and the titles differ considerably. The German listing reads “Vlieseline G785 weiß, pro Meter”, the British one sells the same identifier as “Vilene Iron-on, Two-way stretch Woven Interfacing”. Same EAN, same product, three brand names across the network: Vlieseline in Germany, Vilene in English-speaking markets.

The mistake this product exists to prevent. Fusing an ordinary interfacing onto a knit is one of the most common ways a home-made T-shirt neckband fails. The interfacing does not stretch, the fabric does, and the two separate at the first strain. G785 is cut and fused the same way but keeps the stretch in both directions, which is why it is worth keeping a metre of it in the drawer even if you rarely sew knits.
