What we verified. The reference B00JJ6L6PY designates this machine on
amazon.de, .fr, .it, .es and .com, confirmed on EAN rather than on the product
title. The UK sells it under a different reference, B0D73TNT2W — so a
British reader is sent to that listing rather than to a page that does not exist
on their store.
What the manufacturer states. 32 stitches, a stated maximum of 1,100 stitches per minute, a one-step automatic buttonhole, an automatic needle threader, a metal internal frame and a stainless steel needle plate. Listed weight 7.0 kg.
What that weight tells you. Seven kilos on a domestic machine is the single most informative number here. It is the difference between a metal chassis that holds its timing and a plastic one that vibrates out of alignment — and it is why this machine keeps feeding where a 3 kg machine stalls on a folded denim hem. Weight is a proxy, not a proof, but on mechanical machines it is a reliable one.
Where we would look before buying. Presser foot lift height, which Singer does not publish for this model and which decides whether it climbs a four-layer seam. We will measure it when we have the machine.

Chiefly the stitch count — 23 against 32 — on what Singer presents as the same heavy-duty chassis. If you sew thick fabric, neither number changes what the machine can climb. Buy on price, or on whether you will genuinely use the extra decorative stitches.
Rarely, at home. It is a manufacturer figure and it is comfortably faster than most people sew. What it indicates indirectly is a motor with headroom, which is more useful than the number itself.
