That is not an accident of our search. We tested five dedicated embroidery machines across four batches and this is the only one that resolved anywhere. Dedicated embroidery machines are sold through dealers in Europe far more than through Amazon, which is worth knowing before you spend an evening looking for one.

Because it is the only one we could verify. We tested five dedicated embroidery machines against six Amazon stores — the Brother NV180, F440E, M380D, NV800E and bernette b70 — and none of them resolved to a real listing we could confirm. Dedicated embroidery machines are largely sold through dealers in Europe, not through Amazon.
Does hoop size really set a ceiling?
Yes, and on most machines it cannot be raised later. A 5×7 inch field covers monograms, pockets, towels and most jacket backs. Anything larger needs a machine built for it, not an accessory.
