A famous badge covering two very different ranges
Singer sells two things under one name. The Heavy Duty machines — the 4423 and 4432 — are metal-framed, around 7 kg, and genuinely handle denim. The Simple and Tradition lines are light plastic-bodied machines at a similar price. Buyers conflate them constantly, and the disappointment that follows is almost always this confusion rather than a bad machine.
In short. Read the model number, not the badge. Heavy Duty means something here; Singer on its own does not.
